What is Strathmore University Foundation?

Strathmore University Foundation is a US based Non-Profit that supports Kenya’s Strathmore University and Strathmore School initiatives on a global basis. Strathmore University Foundation:

-   develops academic and program alliances between Strathmore University (Kenya) and academies and institutions in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere.
-   organizes alumni worldwide in its work with the Strathmore University Alumni Association.
-   cultivates material and financial resources among corporations, foundations, agencies, and individuals in support of Strathmore University’s advancement.

Why GiantSky sees great potential in Strathmore:

Pro Bono: GiantSky supports Village Ecosystem Project in Kibale, Uganda

GiantSky, from time to time, provides pro bono creative work for select causes worldwide.  We recently provided creative for printed materials that will help the Chimp-n-sea Foundation raise moneys for their efforts to create a harmonious habitat between the villagers of Kibale, Uganda, and their Forest ecosystem. 

The Kibale Community Fuel Wood Project strives to protect Kibale National Park by empowering local communities to live sustainably.  The people around Kibale live in one of the richest habitats in the world: 12 kinds of primates, 339 bird [space] species, 229 tree species, 77 mammals, 75 reptiles and amphibians, and more.  But because of a fuel problem, the habitat is in danger.
